Fairly new but needs more experience to cater for most tourists.  Very very firm bed if you like that kind of sleep or are youngIt is a very calm beach. Usually foreigners visit here to warm their skin. Normal people hard to find this place. There are a resort which is very close to the beach. The tides of this beach is usually low.

2.Beach near homestay

It was nice, awesome freaking place. Food was average of ur vegetarian then it is not at all worthy. Have plenty of parking slot. Full of greenery. U will get hot water for bath, they have solar panels. Beach is just 5 min walk from this place. Private beach so only few people will be there for ur privacy that too foreigners. Sea bed is good & calm u can walk up to 10m from seashore to towards waterside. Waves will be less but gigantic will be coming every 5 min. Everyone penny will be worthy once u saw beach. In front of the house there will be fresh backwater reservoir. Beach drive will be 5km away from this place. Only drawback is to reach there very difficult to take cars but house owner has experience he will help u out. If possible try to park on roadside itself it will be better.

3.Beach near kannur airport

Had gone there alone .. Reached Kannur airport at night and a pick up was promptly arranged. The place is non touristy in a remote yet very safe location. Good to get a feel of real India. The owner Mr. Sha is an awesome person and very hospitable in a way never seen in western countries. The food was delicious. Its value for money.. A backpackers paradise. The place where its located has a river and coconut trees right in front and a very non commercial beach nearby. I would go there again.
