My experience staying in Kannur West Beach house was very good. We stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days and opted for breakfast and dinner. The food was very tasty and the place was quiet from the city hustle and bustle.Highly Recommend for family and friends to visit and experience the place and hospitality of the property owner.Shahji, thank you once again for everything and also the home made chips which you gave us while leaving the property.

I had a pleasant time at this home stay, which served as a simple and good value place from which to explore the nice local beaches. Shah put on a delicious breakfast, and simple, homely dinners. The room was clean and comfortable and I loved the view of the lagoon from the balcony.Due to not having a shared language with the host, we weren’t able to discuss the local area or get recommendations / advice re activities from him, but he did kindly arrange a tuktuk when asked.

I did not stay in this hotel.. review is for hospitality of host.So we booked for 3 nights and paid advance of 1000 without checking weather conditions. 2 days later the host himself calls and tells us that the weather is too bad and it might not be good to travel and asked to cancel or postpone.( Very few honest people do this nowdays ) He promptly refunded money as well and suggested September might be good. Definitely will visit here only and update my review on stay details once I complete my stay

Stayed at Kannur West Beach House for 2 nights in the month of August. Had a lovely and homely experience staying there. Surrounded by greenery and coconut trees, the house has a very authentic vibe.The rooms were spacious and clean. Our host (owner) was very helpful and his attention to everything was noteworthy. We had local cuisines cooked at his kitchen, and the food was delicious. Overall this place is very much recommended and I would love to visit again sometime.

Really really good place to stay for a while. It was really a calm and peaceful experience. The hospitality was at its best. The rooms and premises are so clean. The food is worth a try- both homely& economical. Beach is very clean and the distance is..a 5 min walk or so and is like private beach as many hasn't explored it seems. Those who likes beaches will truly like the place altogether!To be frank, the room was up to the mark 9/10 as it was spacious calm and clean. The location is more peaceful than populous. All the amenities were good and the staffs were so pleasing and sincere to make the travel cozy and ease.

jisi's place is few minutes from the beach. room is spic and span. hot water available at all times. if you are a Nature loving person, you are right in the middle of it. and finally the highlight of the stay is the food the host prepares. I am a vegetarian and the food she gave was very very tasty. I am sure non veg should taste even better. sha jisi's hubby is a humble soft and wonderful person. I loved the stay. thanks to jisi and sha.

I spent around two weeks at this place, and I can confidently say it felt like home the entire time. The proximity to the amazing beach allowed me to witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets every day. If you're fortunate, you might even witness the Theyyam, a local ritual art ceremony practiced exclusively in North Kerala. Jisi, the host, is extremely helpful and friendly. They provided me with all the information I needed to experience it. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

It was great place to stay peacefully. The place is surrounded by lush green and water. The owner was always helpful and responsive. I went with a toddler, the people were very supportive and friendly. I did not find it difficult anywhere, anytime. It was easy go. Thanks to Sha and Jisi for their hospitality.

Second time coming here, as this place is a hidden gem! Beautiful surroundings, amazing food and the loveliest hosts, with only a 5 minute walk from a beautiful deserted beach, it’s perfect. Thank you!

Pros : 1) the host is very helpful and courteous with a smile 2) the location is peaceful and green 3) food is local and tasty 4) rooms are basic but very clean 5) beaches are almost empty and extremely clean Cons : 1) driving to and from location might be difficult. Please call the host up and ask for which route to take exactly. G.Maps shows the right way but you might end up off roading a bit with steep inclines and reclines. 2) beach access by foot restricted if there is water logging. But driving to the beach takes hardly 5-10mins.
