1.The area does not have many restaurants or general stores.
for you to grab a quick bite. But you can rely upon the owner to cook sumptuous kerala food for you at a very reasonable price.
2.The area has good connectivity for cell phones,
but somehow GPS is not very accurate. So , unless you have a strong sense of directions you might get lost. But you can always call the host and they will guide you.
3.I would suggest going on foot for nearby places and see if host can arrange and auto
for you in case you plan to visit some place a bit far off(I saw a few other visitors doing this) instead of your own vehicle.Overall it was a very good value for money for us.
4.I spent some nice and quiet days at Sha’s and Jisi’s place,
they were very welcoming and helpful regarding my further travels, how to get around, drop off at the bus Station etc. The food was just awesome,
5.Although you have to pay extra (but there’s no restaurant or bar nearby),
but it was totally worth it. The walk to the quiet and clean beach takes about 3 minutes, so the location is just great if you want to spend some quiet days off the beaten track. The rooms were simple and clean, with big windows towards the backyard. Would definitely stay again!.
